A TRADITIONAL SOUVENIR ‘TENUGUI’: I met Masa when I stayed at the Kamejikan Guesthouse – a 100 year old merchant’s house that he restored, in Kamakura, Japan. He commissioned me to design a souvenir tenugui cloth to celebrate 15 years of his guesthouse, based on my travel sketchbook style. The cotton textile was screenprinted in two colours in Kamakura. I designed a range of postcards that are sold alongside the tenugui at the guesthouse.
